Recently, I was tasked with making what I’d like to consider is really the cornerstone of any BBQ – Baked Beans. Looking at the recipe, I was slightly skeptical…celery? Vinegar? In baked beans? Trust me though – it’s delicious. But, don’t just take my word for it.

Beth’s Baked Beans

2 cans Pork & Beans

1 lb. sausage

1/4 c. bell pepper, chopped

1 lg. onion, chopped

1 1/2 T. celery, chopped

2 T. brown sugar

1 T. chili powder

1 T. vinegar

1/2 bottle of ketchup

Brown sausage and saute veggies. Add everything else. Bake in 350 degree oven for about 30 mins.
